Sideshow Collectibles Commander Bly Figure Review

Sideshow Collectibles just knows how to deliver. I am a huge fan of Star Wars, as I have pretty well established at this point, and the latest piece of my collection came in yesterday from the folks at Sideshow, and it is awesome. Commander Bly was Aayla Secura’s commanding officer during the Clone Wars and ultimately responsible for her death. This piece is the latest release as part of the Sideshow “Militaries of Star Wars” series and is 1/6th scale. It comes with three head variations: one with no helmet, one with the Episode II helmet and the last with the Episode III variation of the helmet. There are a bunch of different hand poses as well. I got the “Sideshow Exclusive” version with the cooler display stand, and the only complaint that I have about the whole package is the actual part that holds the figure in place. It is different from the other two stands that I have and holds the figure in a strange way. The other two I have actually clips around the waist. This one… it looks like it is supposed to go in between the arm pits of the figure, but it doesn’t raise up that high. Oh well, it stays in place none-the-less. Overall, just an outstanding piece and one that really makes me excited to get my hands on their Commander Gree! I think I spent $125 for this, so be on the lookout if you’re a Commander Bly kind of guy/gal.

Nice pics, I should be getting mine tomorrow. FYI, the stand works by holding the figure up under the hips/groin region.

Thanks dude. Someone on the Youtube video told me the same thing. I feel like such a noob. I still prefer the other style stand. Oh well, thanks again!

No problem. I’ve got mine opened up now, it really is a nice figure. Bring on Bacara!

I think that the stand goes between his legs not in his arm pits
