Train Rolls In To Holmdel, New Jersey

CHOO CHOO!! Sorry, had to do it. Yes, Train has rolled in to New Jersey last night accompanied by Maroon 5 as part of their co-headlining summer tour, with special guest, Gavin DeGraw. A simple 30 minute drive turned into 2 1/2 hours of waiting in traffic to get into the PNC Bank Arts Center, no doubt being a result of a completely sold out show; Unlike the oncoming Hurricane Irene, who was performing on the entire Floridian coast, literally shredding the entire coastline, Maroon 5 stole the crowd busting “Moves like Jagger”, while coincidentally opening to “Moves Like Jagger”. Who would have thought? An outstanding performance by the funkadelic group of 5, with the random 6th touring member. IRONY! Train opened with the idealistic, yet soooo seen from a mile away “chugga chugga chugga chugga CHOO CHOO” sound bit, and followed by the epic opening song Parachute. I can honestly say this is definitely the most memorable summer tour of 2011.
