Battlefield 3 E3 2011 Madness! In Stores 10/25/11

It’s over folks. Battlefield 3 will be the end of life as I know it. A release date was finally announced for the much anticipated first person shooter that is set to define a genre and change the way shooters are played forever, and your life will change for good on October 25th, 2011. The folks at DICE flew into LA from their offices in Sweden to show off the game in all its glory in conjunction with the 2011 E3 Convention, and the sheer glory of this masterpiece can be viewed below. Multiplayer is finally on display, as Rush mode in the middle of Paris, France is shown in a video called Operation Metro:
The benefits of the new Frostbite 2.0 follow in the next video, and it’s pretty tough not to get excited at the advances in graphics and motion DICE is putting together:
Last, but certainly not least we have some tank gameplay and it is nothing short of amazing!
There is literally nothing that can top this, so everyone else should just pack it up and call it a day. I just took the entire week of release off and you probably should too.
