Why is it now such a big deal that WWE want to no longer be known as a wrestling compamy?

Wrestling fans sometimes are the dumbest fucking people on the net. Wrestling forums are the Twilight Zone, and its fucking tragic. With the exception of a couple, most wrestling websites are just HATER sites and bring up the WORST topics I have ever read and throw there weight as a fan around and complete fucking nobodies.
Recently news has surfaced that WWE wants to downplay themselves as a wrestling company, they now want to be known as an Entertainment company. NEWS FLASH, it has been like this since the 1980′s people. Because of strict regulations set up by states, the WWE had to state they were not sports they were entertainment. So for 20 years plus, WWE has been known as the world wide leader in sports entertainment.
THEY ARE NOT CHANGING ANYTHING. WWE will still be the same thing. The wrestlers have always been known as Superstars. There material is scripted, just like any entertainment like Broadway and movies. So now they decided to just say were an entertainment company and now it is a BIG DEAL?
Wrestling fans shit on EVERYTHING. We got spoiled with ECW and the Monday night wars and we want it to be as good as that. You all want flaming tables and chair shots to the head. I loved ECW and I loved the Monday night wars, but that was great when I was a teenager and had juvenile manners and tendencies. I loved the blood, violence and hot chicks just like all of you. However, I grew up, I am pushing 30 and recently got married. It seems to me most of the wrestling fans have not.
WWE has never had the best “wrestling”, look at there list of world champions and its obvious. Their first champion was Buddy Rogers, a showman not a great wrestler. Hulk Hogan, underrated wrestler if you have seen him in Japan you will know why, but as WWE champion he was limited.
“What about TNA, they are Total Nonstop Action!”, no they are not 20 minutes out of a 2 hour show is not Total Nonstop. Wrestling, hate to say this, is not accepted by the main stream. Vince knew that and he took his show national and said I have a better product and he fucking proved it.
Am I WWE biased? YES I AM, and I am damn proud of it!!! They are better to their fans than any other wrestling company or any other sport for that manner. You go to Wrestlemania, there are 70,000+++++ fans of the product. You go to a sporting event and its taken ever by corperations and other non fans. Anybody has a chance to go to Wrestlemania, few have a chance to go to Super Bowl. WWE does not have Labor Diputes, lockouts or work stoppages.
So to all the haters, shut up and either deal with the facts or stop watching your being pathetic complaining about the fact that a company that has said we are in the entertainment business for over 25 years, is just reminding you of all that.
