RAGE Shows Off Dead City In New Trailer

Oh my $%^$@@%!!!! Yes, characters, because my mind =’s blown. RAGE is a game that has been in the works by ID/Bethesda for quite a few years, and it is getting closer to finally seeing the light of day. Five minutes of pure gameplay footage is available below and it sees our playable character on a mission into a section of the RAGE world called “Dead City,” where he is looking for some kind of defibrillator that will help keep him alive. There are a number of weapons shown, from pistols to sniper rifles, right on down to some kind of boomerang style ninja star, and all I can say is… wow. For a game that has taken so long to create, this one looks like a pure freaking winner, and I for one can not wait until it finally sees the light of day 9/13/11. Stay tuned, because the trailer promises more gameplay of a mission called “The Shrouded” in the near future, and you know we’ll be all over it once it is available. Yeah, a ravaged, post-apocalyptic America may be a tad bit over-done, but if the game is as amazing as this one looks, there is always room for one more!
