Microsoft “Adaptive Keyboard” In The Works?

This is easily one of the coolest things I have seen today, and I have seen a lot of cool stuff. It’s so cool I decided to start a tech category just to post this. The 10 minute video you will see after the break is a tech demo of a possible Microsoft product that is in the works called an “Adaptive Keyboard.” The keyboard features a fairly large LED screen above the keys that is constantly changing based on the features you select during usage. The keys themselves are also LED, allowing them to change constantly based on the program in use or what you want it to do. I have no idea how far along in the process this keyboard is, as the video itself is intended for use in a college based contest. I also don’t even know if I want to know how much this thing is going to cost. All I know is that it may just be Jason Belec’s wet dream come true. Imagine the gaming capabilities this keyboard can pack? The possibilities are endless. Check out the video after the break.
